Join us for a guided nature walk led by your reindeer handler and foraging expert. You will enjoy exploring native trails and discovering the bounty our forest provides alongside our reindeer companions. This leisurely stroll offers a casual pace over uneven ground, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings. As you wander through natural terrain you'll witness the reindeer in their natural habitat, grazing on the abundant vegetation and frolicking amidst the trees. Marvel at their grace and beauty as you learn about their behaviors and habits from your guide. Please note: the trails are not currently wheelchair or mobility impaired accessible, so contact us ahead of time to chat about accommodations we can offer. For families, we provide peace of mind with our safety measures. Children aged 4 and under are required to be securely carried in a pack (front or back) ensuring their comfort and security throughout the journey. Additionally, children under 12 must remain supervised by an adult at all times, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Then you’ll meet your reindeer walking companions. The walk will consist of: ~Uneven terrain ~Berries and plants to discover depending on time of year ~Interesting facts about reindeer We’ll finish up with a local treat What should you wear/bring: ~Sturdy shoes or boots for uneven terrain ~Weather appropriate clothing ~Mosquito repellent ~Backpack for children under 4 (we have some for rent if you don’t have one) ~Camera!
